“Commitment is an attitude.”

To me, Consulting means being committed to the client, for sustainable results and good teamwork in the project. Sometimes bigger goals are added to this. Our project for the DESERTEC Foundation had everything I want: Challenging, complex task: developing a strategy to trigger global development with very limited resources and building a strong NGO Meaningful client goals: promoting solar and wind energy in desert regions, local socio-economic development, building bridges between science, industry and civil society We defined a scope of services as well as areas of action in workshops with the Executive Board and Supervisory Board. Possibilities for implementing the visionary goals were developed together. External experts supported us with specific technical issues, such as fundraising or trademark law. Our student trainee‘s masters thesis provided further input. In the end, a strategy areas of responsibility, and governance were set out for a professional NGO and we learned a lot as well. The engagement became contagious: An online blog was inspired by the idea of contributing to the implementation of the energy transition, a platform for topics related to storage technologies and innovations in the energy sector.
